We are looking for a Digital Media Manager who is driven to join a team of experienced marketing professionals and excited to be involved with one of the most promising tactics in digital marketing, programmatic buying, and help Katana run data driven marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be able to take a full picture approach to client’s campaigns and understand the multiple marketing touch points that are leveraged into programmatic buying strategies to achieve business objectives. Desired Skills + Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, Business or Statistics
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing, specifically direct response digital paid media
  • Knowledge of least one DSP (TURN, DataXU, MediaMath, The Trade Desk, AppNeux, X+1 or a similar buying platform)
  • Advanced understanding of media campaign setup, optimization, strategy and reporting frameworks for paid search and/or programmatic buying platforms
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and handle high-pressure situations with tight timelines
  • Understanding of digital marketing ecosystems from digital media to creative development and data management platforms like DMPs or CRMs
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, pivot tables and navigating through large amounts of data to tell a story
  • Demonstrated experience as a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients and explain media reporting, analysis and action items to all levels of client marketing teams
  • Serve as the liaison between Katana and 3rd party vendors, technologies and partners
  • Execute and manage strategy of client campaigns through digital media tactics, programmatic buying channels and platforms, data driven response campaign and audience segmentation and validation via large data sets
  • Create business rules and quality assurance for campaigns based on campaign objectives
  • Ongoing analysis and optimization of proactive and reactive campaign frameworks to align with overarching strategy and result trending
  • Implement testing plans again campaign matrixes for incremental improvements in performance
  • Investigate and resolve under-performing campaigns by developing action plans and next steps
  • Collect and synthesize existing data from internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep current on new and emerging technology, creative and programming applications for potential use on clients media mix
  • Execute campaigns on paid social platforms (Facebook and Twitter) for clients
  • Work with internal strategic leads to evaluate, implement and maintain relationships with key partners across inventory, audience data providers and campaign UX integrations for customized digital media solutions
  • Support sales and client development teams in the building of media strategy and budgeting
