Katana’s VP of Strategic Partnerships/Higher Education, Richard Burczyk, has been in the digital marketing industry for over 25 years. His resume boasts a menu of executive level positions and experience in strategizing, managing, developing and analyzing a full range of digital marketing initiatives including programmatic, paid search/social and SEO across all channels. Richard received a BS in Computer Information Systems and his Marketing MBA from Western International University.
In his free time, Richard enjoys traveling, hiking, reading 50 books per year [on Kindle], teaching at local community colleges and spending every free moment with his family. We sat down with Richard to learn more about his interests and the path that brought him to Katana.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandmother on my mom’s side of the family. My parents went back to Europe when I was 12 (that’s when I fell out of the plane) and took me up to the Russian border, but not across to meet my grandmother. My grandmother never forgave my mom for not taking me the extra 200km.
