What’s your position and role at KATANA?
Business Development Manager- I help growth oriented organizations take their digital media initiatives to the next level by gaining a deep understanding of their business and introducing them to the data driven and technology enabled Katana methodology.
What do you like most about your job?
The people. Katana employs the most smart and goal oriented group of folks I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone is laser focused on providing world-class services and it permeates through the culture.
What’re two interesting facts about you?
- When I was a kid I 100% thought I would become a pop country star. ROFL.
- I have an unfounded dislike of seafood.
One thing you couldn’t live without?
My friends and family. Is that cheating since it’s not really just one thing? That’s my answer! 🙂
How do you define success?
Success can take many different forms depending on the context. For me, personal success is the ability to maintain happiness and a certain level of comfort while being able to focus on continuous growth.
What are your most overused words/phrases?
Y’ALL! I was born in Texas and have managed to drop my accent for the most part, but can’t shake using y’all. My friends love to tease me about it constantly.
What’s the most recent app you’ve downloaded?
iRobot. I’m getting married in a few months and someone was kind enough to buy us an incredible WiFi connected Roomba off our ridiculous registry.
What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime?
Wow. So many things come to mind that I don’t think I can pick one! AI- Smartphones – Google Maps – Social Media – the list goes on and it has all completely reshaped how we connect with the world and those around us!
If you had to go up against KATANA’s Executive Chairman Andreas Roell in the World Karaoke Championship, what song would you sing?
Wannabe – Spice Girls -but trust, you don’t want to hear me karaoke!
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I’m getting real cliche with this one. I think it would be AWESOME to have dinner with Lady Gaga. Why you ask? Because it would be an absolute blast. You’d get everything. Humor. Art. Activism. Fashion. Talent. All in one sitting!
